ChatGPT Has a Second Mode Most People Never Open

Here's the exact setup.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

20 Oct   |   Read online   Saj at Futurepedia       ChatGPT Work finally clicked for me this week. You give it a folder, it hands back finished files, & you stay in charge of what goes out. Here's one way to put it to work for your clients. - Saj Run ChatGPT ads from inside HubSpot, the first CRM to plug in →             ChatGPT Work Guide How We Used ChatGPT Work To Turn Messy Client Notes Into Weekly Updates A solo consultant with five clients loses Friday afternoon to status emails. She points ChatGPT Work at one folder of project notes & gets five personal drafts to review, turning an afternoon of typing into a quick read-through. Why ChatGPT Work Is a Winner Chat is for quick back-and-forth. Work is for when you want a finished file back. ✅ Reads the files in a project folder on your computer, so there's nothing to upload ✅ Hands back finished spreadsheets, documents, & slides, not just chat replies ✅ Connects to Gmail, Drive, & your calendar through plugins ✅ Reuses a template, so you never re-explain the same job ✅ Repeats on a schedule, like every Friday How We Did It Here's how we set up a weekly client update that mostly writes itself. If you send the same kind of message to several people, you could use the same setup. 1. Create a project & point it at your folder Open the ChatGPT desktop app, go to Work, & choose a new project. Name it 'Client Updates', then give it access to the folder holding your project notes & your contact list. Folder access only works in the desktop app. Nothing to upload each week saves you the copy-paste routine. 2. Pick Work, not Chat Start your chat in the Work tab. It takes a few extra minutes, but you get finished output back. Choose the newest model on the list & keep the reasoning slider on medium. Slide it up to high if your notes are long or messy. 3. Turn your best past update into a template Type @ & start typing 'template', then pick the template creator. Attach your best past update & say: 'Turn this update into a reusable template. Name it Weekly Client Update & always use our contact list.' You explain the job once & never again.             Free Resource The first CRM that plugs into ChatGPT Ads If you're deciding what's actually worth adding to your stack, here's one to evaluate: HubSpot just became the first CRM integrated directly with ChatGPT Ads. You can build, manage, and measure ChatGPT ad campaigns from inside HubSpot instead of stitching another tool onto the pile. What’s Inside: Build, manage, & measure ChatGPT ad campaigns from inside HubSpot Save up to 65% on HubSpot Starter (annual, first year) Get buy-one-get-one-free ChatGPT Business seats for a year Claim up to $500 in ChatGPT Ads credit for new advertisers Check it out →             ChatGPT Work Guide Continued 4. Bring in your template & Gmail, then ask for drafts Start a new chat. Type @, pick your template, then @ again & pick the Gmail plugin (plugins are how Work reaches your other apps). Ask: 'Write this week's update for each client using their first name & the notes in the folder. Save each as a draft. Don't send anything. Ask for approval if you need it.' In a few minutes you have five drafts instead of five blank emails. 5. Review every draft before it goes out Open Gmail & read each one. Fix anything off by telling Work what to change. For files Work builds, 'request edit' lets you click the exact spot you want changed. 6. Put it on a schedule In the same chat, say: 'Do this every Friday.' Work saves it as a scheduled task & writes out the full instructions. Find it under 'Scheduled' to change how often it repeats or pause it anytime. Your update now shows up as drafts on its own. One catch: Work is built for the Business & Pro plans. The free plan has it on desktop only & it's very limited. Watch The Full Video →             Use Cases If you send similar messages to several people on a schedule, this setup stretches far. Operations: Turn vendor notes into a weekly status email for each supplier Sales: Draft a follow-up to every lead from your call notes Coaching: Send each client a short progress note from your session notes Property management: Update each owner on repairs & rent in one pass Nonprofits: Write a personal thank-you to each donor from one list             Bonus Tips Keep your notes in one folder: Work reads your project folder, so the same tidy file names each week give cleaner drafts Say 'don't send' every time: Putting it in your prompt keeps every draft waiting for your approval Let the Meetings plugin take your notes: On a Mac with a Business or Pro plan, it listens to your calls & saves notes to Spaces for your next chat. It's still rolling out, so you may not see it yet             How was Futurepedia today?
