Plus: Code with ChatGPT

THE PROMPT INDEX

Welcome to the 12th edition of the weekly newsletter. This week we welcome the start of a new section to the newsletter (a weekly walkthrough on how to code your own websites (or anything really) from scratch with ChatGPT) called "Coding with ChatGPT". It's aimed at non-coders, so those with experience can probably take a pass on it! Please do give me your feedback and if it's positive i'll continue this new series. Also this week, we have an awesome SEO focused blog writing prompt, another stunning Midjourney template featuring sweeping ink-wash styles for you to play around with, a blog covering the latest prompt engineering technique (Diversity of Thought) and some interesting news coming from China.

If you are enjoying this newsletter please do feel free to share
this link  it will really help us grow!
Prompt Of The Week
Created by Lamber Tran, this SEO focused blog writing prompt is excellent start for any blog. It's ability to bring your blog idea to life by providing the basic structure is outstanding. If used in 3.5 it will generate a small amount of content per section. To increase the size of the blog, ask it to expand upon each section until you reach the size you're looking for.

Image Of The Week
Image of the WeekFantastic work by @LudovicCreator in creating this amazing sweeping inkwash midjourney template. There are four examples uploaded to the image database with all the prompts available to see. You can make this template your own by simply changing the two [COLOURS] & [SUBJECT] in the base prompt: Sweeping [COLOUR] and [COLOUR] ink washes [SUBJECT] as rythms of change --ar 3:2 --style raw --s 100
Give it a go and tag us in your creations on X! (@ThePromptIndex).
Coding With ChatGPT
Blog of the WeekWelcome to the first episode of Coding with ChatGPT. The idea behind this series is to try and empower none coders into being able to code (assisted by chatGPT) and over-time you will naturally pick it up. In Week 1: The Basics it will cover what you need to do, in a step by step guide, (lead by ChatGPT), to get yourself set up, ready to code and do a little bit of basic coding (well copy and pasting), and by the end of it, you'll have a VERY basic website.
As we progress through the weeks we will get into more complex and longer pieces of code. The idea behind this is to show what is now possible. For those of you who don't know, that's how I built The Prompt Index. That's how I also coded this email you're reading (yes, chatGPT help me code this email from the ground up as I didn't like the drag and drop editor that I was provided).
Blog Of The Week
Blog of the WeekThere seems to be a new prompting technique every month, however I tend to only consider those which have an authentic body of research behind it. Diversity of Thought is one of those techniques that has the backing of a proper research paper showing it outperforms existing techniques substantially such as Chain of Thought. Included in the blog is a prompt template which you can use that utilises Diversity of Thought straight out of the box!
In The News
Blog of the WeekHeard of Earnie? It's the Chinese Google (Baidu) version of ChatGPT which had a rocky start on it's first release (Much like Bard!) but after multiple updates, they are not stating Earnie is as good as ChatGPT, read the full article by Fortune below. Unsubscribe from this list
