THE PROMPT INDEX

Welcome to the 13th edition of the weekly newsletter. Week 2 of the new Code with ChatGPT series is here, where we begin a new project from scratch and over the next couple of weeks will hopefully build a simple yet effective website. We also have a popular prompt on the socials this week that creates PowerPoint presentations by the way of VBA code, a really cool Midjourney template, a blog article which highlights just how easy it is for someone to manipulate LLM's into producing harmful content (educational purposes only), and some news showing what OpenAI have been up to recently.

Prompt Of The Week
I posted this on my socials and it received pretty good attention so some of you will likely have seen this, however, for those that haven't this prompt is a two part prompt that will generate a basic outline/structure of a presentation, then create the VBA code (Visual Basic) and will automatically generate all the slides with the content generated. Click the link below and read the detailed instructions on a step by step guide on how to use this awesome prompt. Although, with all the updates Microsoft are pumping out, no doubt this prompt will be made redundant in the very near future as AI is integrated across all things Microsoft.

Coding With ChatGPT
Blog of the WeekWeek two of Coding with ChatGPT is here, this week we start a new project that we are going to work on over the next couple of weeks. It's for a ficticious client who is a dog walker, so we will be builder her website to help her attract more customers using just ChatGPT. We will covering styling (CSS), adding images and Javascript. Over the next couple of weeks we will really start building this dog walking website out and show you what a non coder can really do with ChatGPT!
Blog Of The Week
Blog of the WeekI came across a really interesting research paper by Jiang, s., Chen, X., & Tang, R. (2023) where they identified and created a framework for injecting a harmful prompt inside another prompt, almost like a Trojan horse. For educational purposes only I have included an example prompt within the blog which gets ChatGPT to tell you the best approach to steal from a store, this is purely to highlight the need for increased safeguarding within LLM's and to show that LLMs like chatGPT lack the capability to discern the true underlying intent within composite instructions.
In The News
Blog of the WeekIf the company behind one of the most successful and advanced LLM's is creating a task force to think of disaster scenarios and how to combat them, I wonder what they are working and seeing to make them react like that. Unsubscribe from this list
