2. YouTube is getting AI-powered dubbing
YouTube is incorporating AI-powered dubbing to its platform via the Aloud team, originally part of Google's Area 120 incubator. Aloud's tool transcribes, translates, and dubs videos, currently supporting English, Spanish, and Portuguese languages, with plans to add more. YouTube is also working towards making translated audio tracks sound more like the creator's voice and achieving better lip sync, expected by 2024.

The combination of base pay and stock options results in a total compensation of around $900,000 for several available roles at OpenAI. OpenAI has listed numerous job vacancies on their official website. These vacancies cover a diverse array of duties and positions, including many high-paying software engineering roles. Including bonuses, the overall compensation increases even more.
