En español dices "the apartment of Sally" (el apartamento de Sally) pero en inglés decimos: "That is Sally's apartment" o "That apartment is Sally's".

It is the boss' decision. ( /bossis/ )
It's James' chair. ( /yeimsis/ )
"teacher": en singular
It's the teacher's money.
"teachers": plural con "-s"
It's the teachers' money.
"people": plural que no acaba en "-s"
That's the people's decision.
That's Sally and Andrew's dog.
 (No "Sally's and Andrew's dog").
USOS ALTERNATIVOS
Times:
next week's game (not "the game of next week")
last year's conference (not "the conference of last year")

Places:
Madrid's galleries (not "the galleries of Madrid")
Spain's weather (not "the weather of Spain")

The king of Spain (not "Spain's king")
The mayor of New York (not "New York's mayor")
